We are still waiting for bottom paint. Friday the weather looks good to finish painting the stripe. But today - She got her name on! See the pics.

David has slain Goliath!

Adam's biggest fear was getting the steering cables all hooked back up.

Making sure the chain is right, the cables are through the pulleys and the cables attach to the rudder wheel. Well, he did it! It was not fun for him to go down below the cockpit through the battery hatch and lie down at an odd angle and only be able do some things with one hand. But it works, the rudder moves when the wheel is turned!

Next, on to the mast and wiring the new lights.

Pedestal back on

The steering pedestal is back on! New gear and throttle cables are connected. Tomorrow is going to be a challenge to get the new chain assembly connected from the wheel to the rudder underneath the cockpit.

Once that is done, we will be getting the mast ready to go back on.

Then it's just bottom paint and back in the water she goes.

I have posted a new pic of the old and new rubber covers that cover where the spreader bars meet the mast. Boy, did this boat need a makeover!
