Yesterday I finished mending the sail. It felt good to get it done. I had to get two new Battens, as it was missing a couple.

Right now the plan is:

As soon as they pull her out, we are replacing the thru-hulls so that the bottom can be painted.

Adam and I will be replacing a soft spot on the deck, replacing the two main hatches and then tackling the cockpit floor.

We are looking to purchase an air compressor. Adam is getting his tool box stocked and ready for what he will need. He will load the generator, compressor, tools, cooler on our trailer and have it ready for when he goes over to the marina.

We are getting ourselves ready to "embrace the suck". Meaning, we know it will suck, but it has to be done. It will be worth it when it is done. Hopefully the weather cooperates. I will keep you informed.

Today we put the water pump back on the engine and it works!

Yesterday I did my first sail repair with the Speedy Stitcher and I have to say, although it may not win any beauty pageants, it's a good repair on a rip that was not along a seam. I am hoping to mend the rest with the sewing machine, as it is along the edge.

Adam has removed, cleaned and tested the engine cooling water pump. It is working well now. The auto bilge pump is also working. Both good news. We were worried out engine was the issue with the water pump.

Today I am repairing the sail. I will post some before and after pics of my repairs.

We are still waiting to hear when they will be pulling Nellie out to do the bottom painting.

It won't let me leave the date open in the event page, so I will just continue to move it out. Pics will be posted when it happens. Stay tuned.
